This is not complete nor is it totally proven. This is just what I have found to this point. I do have some more documentation.

We find now that Frederick Homan and William Homan were in Fayette Co, Pa with Eber which is probably his brother. Also they removed to Warren Co., Ohio and Preble Co, Ohio and had children the same names as Eber's. So this is something we must get to Preble Co, Clinton Co and Wayne Co, Ohio to sort out with obits.

1. EBER HOMAN was born September 04, 1764 in Long Island, NY, and died March 25, 1840 in Preble Co., Ohio. He married (1) ROSANNA COX before 1786 in Fayette Co, Pa, daughter of Michael Cox and Elizabeth Desloch. Rosanna was born about 1767, and died about 1800 in Luzerne Twp, Fayette Co, Pa. Eber then married (2) JANE MCPURDY before 1801 in Fayette Co, Pa. She died in April 1810 in Fayette Co, Luzerne Twp, Pa. Eber then married (3) ANNE MARSHALL 1818 in Lebanon, Warren Co, Ohio.

Eber Homan is listed in the publication: Men from Morris County, New Jersey Who Served in the American Revolution.

Eber Homan b. 9/9/1764 d. 3/25/1840. Enlisted 1779, and served six months in Capt. Ward's Co., NJ Troops. Lived Mendham twp; moved with family to Fayette Co., PA, where he enlisted 1782 in Capt. Power's Co., PA Line.

Married 3rd. Anne Marshall 14 June 1818. Is said to have had 8 children by EACH OF 3 WIVES; buried in Lewisburg Cem. Preble Co., OH. Pension Number S4405.

Eber Homan, born September 9, 1764 on Long Island, N.Y., went with his father when two or three years of age to Morris Co., N.J. While residing in Mendham Twp Morris Co, he enlisted in 1779 and served six months in Captain Ward's Company under Major Hays in the New Jersey Troops. He was discharged December 15, 1779. In 1780 he moved to Fayette Co., PA, and served in Captain John Powers' Pennsylvania Company. Military service: 1779, American Revolution NJ and PA.

Mr. Homan was married 3 times & had 8 children by each wife. He came to Ohio where he received a land grant in Warren Co and was among the earliest settlers there. He came to Preble Co with his family where he was allowed a pension November 1, 1833 at $20 per year. He died october 1840 and was buried in Roselawn Cemetery at Lewisburg, Preble County, Ohio.

Notes for ANDREW BATES:
In 1832, Andrew, Hannah and 5 children joined William Homan and Jane Bates in Wyandot County. They were amongst the 1st Settlers in Wyandot Co, Ohio. Andrew then purchased 600 acres in Scott Twp, Sandusky Co, Ohio where they remained the rest of there lives. They are buried in the Trinity Cemetary, which is on this property.
